The cage-like base coupled with the glass top gives this coffee table a sense of lightness. The distinct geometric pattern is signature Gaurav Nanda, the creative founder behind the Los Angeles-based Bend Design. This over-sized table is realized by way of a process Gaurav dubs “bending.” Applied to all of his completely handmade furniture, the iron is shaped, then spot-welded in hundreds of places. Then it’s galvanized and given a powder-coated finish that withstands the elements. Consider it for outdoor or indoor use.
